Sitting here listening to Bing Crosby singing "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" in spite of the grey, cold and rainy day outside. The Christmas tree lights are shining beautifully against the wall. The movie classic 'Scrooge - A Christmas Carol" is paused on the DVD player while the children search for Carries Cell Phone. The cinnamon buns are rising, the oven is pre-heating, our stomachs are growling in anticipation. Everyone is still in pajamas from opening presents this morning. Thankfully no one paid us a surprise visit! We sit remembering the wonderful Christmas Eve service and meal we shared last night with church family. Men of the church shared various prophecies of the coming Messiah, all fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Praise God for sending His only begotten Son to redeem lost sinners to Himself.
Here's wishing all a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with health and the blessings of the Lord.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
